Examples of toClientURL()

• org.apache.tapestry.Asset.toClientURL()
  Returns a URL that can be passed, unchanged, to the client in order for it to access the resource. The same value is returned from toString().

  Note that the returned value may be {@linkplain org.apache.tapestry.TapestryConstants#FORCE_ABSOLUTE_URIS_SYMBOL request dependent}. You may cache instances of Asset, but do not cache the client URL path as it may change.

• org.apache.tapestry.services.ClasspathAssetAliasManager.toClientURL()
  Takes a resource path to a classpath resource and adds the asset path prefix to the path. May also convert part of the path to an alias (based on the manager's configuration). @param resourcePath resource path on the classpath (with no leading slash) @return URL ready to send to the client
• org.apache.tapestry5.Asset.toClientURL()
  Returns a URL that can be passed, unchanged, to the client in order for it to access the resource. The same value is returned from toString().

  Tapestry's built-in asset types (context and classpath) always incorporate a version number as part of the path, and alternate implementations are encouraged to do so as well. In addition, Tapestry ensures that context and classpath assets have a far-future expires header (to ensure aggressive caching by the client).
