Enumeration of special key segment values used to traverse from the first or last key. At most one EdgeValue may be appended to a key, but a key so constructed is not valid for the {@link Exchange#store store} or {@link Exchange#fetch fetch} operations. See {@link #BEFORE}and {@link #AFTER}. Serializable because these values can be transmitted via RMI.
