org.camunda.bpm.engine.RuntimeService.signal()

Sends an external trigger to an activity instance that is waiting inside the given execution. Note that you need to provide the exact execution that is waiting for the signal if the process instance contains multiple executions. @param executionId id of process instance or execution to signal, cannot be null. @throws BadUserRequestException when no execution is found for the given executionId or id is null. @throws SuspendedEntityInteractionException when the execution is suspended.
